Self-setup
It's easy. All it takes is a few steps.
Pick out the best spot for your Optimum Stream. It should be close to your TV and a power outlet.
Insert the batteries in the Optimum Stream remote.
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to our Optimum Stream and the other to your TV.
If your Internet router is close to your Optimum Stream, use the provided Ethernet cable to connect Optimum Stream to the router.
Insert the power cord into the back of your Optimum Stream and plug the other end into a power outlet.
Make sure that the power button has been pressed so that it is in the ON position.
Turn on your TV and select the HDMI input where you previously connected your Optimum Stream.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete set up.
Tip
During setup, you will be prompted to sign into your Google Account. With a Google account, you can use your voice to search for shows, open apps on Google Play, and more with Google Assistant. Locate your Google Account or create one.
